Dead Daisies’ New Song ‘The Last Time I Saw the Sun'
Supergroup Dead Daisies, hit stores later last week with the new album 'Make Some Noise' and a new single ‘The Last Time I Saw the Sun'.
Supergroup Dead Daisies, which features Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio, John Corabi, Motley Crue, The Scream), David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy ( Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner), hits stores later last week (Aug. 5) with a new album 'Make Some Noise'.
'Make Some Noise' was recorded and produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry) in Nashville, and includes 10 original songs plus two covers of iconic classic rock anthems: the Who's 'Join Together' and Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Fortunate Son'.
A couple of days before the releasing of the album, Dead Daises shared the audio of the first single 'Last Time I Saw the Sun'. Hear it below.
The song is an autobiographical account of life on tour. “It’s really indicative of our lifestyle”, says Daisies guitarist Doug Aldrich. “You know, what’s cool is, you think, How many more road songs do you need? Ad the answer is, just one. Because when you got a title as cool as ‘The Last Time I Saw the Sun,’ you just gotta go with it!”.
