Eagles of Death Metal Releasing Documentary About Bataclan ISIS Attack
Eagles of Death Metal have announced a new documentary that will chronicle the events before and after the terrorist attack that occurred at their show at the Bataclan theatre in Paris last November.
The band were playing at the Bataclan venue on the night of November 13 2016 when ISIS terrorists stormed the club killing 89 people. It was one of six co-ordinated attacks on Paris that night that killed a total of 130 people.
As Pitchfork reports, the new documentary, entitled ‘Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)’, has been made by the band to tell the story of the tragic events. Directed by Colin Hanks (the son of actor Tom Hanks), the documentary will also look at Hughes (EODM frontman) and Josh Homme’s (Queen of the Stone Age frontman) friendship, while EODM’s relationship with their fans will also be covered.
Eagles of Death Metal: ‘Nos Amis (Our Friends)’ will air on HBO in February 2017.
