Eric Clapton To Release His 23rd Studio Album 'I Still Do', May 20th.
Clapton and Johns had worked together on the highly successful Slowhand album. Slowhand topped the charts globally and is certified 3x platinum. On his website, Clapton states “This was a long and overdue opportunity to work with Glyn Johns again, and also, incidentally, the fortieth anniversary of 'Slowhand'!”.
Johns' career behind the mixing desk covers a who's who in rock music, from Led Zeppelin to the Rolling Stones to The Who.
'I Still Do' is the follow up to 2014's 'Eric Clapton & Friends': The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale.
The album's artwork is an illustration of Clapton crafted by Sir Peter Blake, who co-designed the sleeve to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band among many others.
