Faceebook Launches 360 Degree Photos With Paul McCartney
The app allows Facebook users to post photos taken “in the round”. McCartney was the first person to test the service, alongside 360 photos taken by Nasa and The New York Times. Users can click on photos to see more details as the picture wraps around the screen.
McCartney posted a photo of him posing with the crowd from his gig at the Alberto Kempes Stadium in Cordoba, Argentina. McCartney said “There’ll be more to come” of his 360 degree photos.
McCartney plans to post more 360 photos beginning with his June 10 show at Munich’s Olympic Stadium. Recently, McCartney shared a 360 video in which explains Early Days a song from his 2013 LP New hat will also appear on his upcoming compilation Pure McCartney (out June 10).
