Metallica's James Hetfield Named As AC/DC's Replacement Vocalist?
Trusted sources out of San Francisco have confirmed that James Hetfield will be filling in for Brian Johnson as lead singer of AC/DC for the remaining dates of the band's tour. Source close to Metallica such as wives girlfriends and the band's caterer tweeted the news earlier this morning. Hetfield himself had tweeted “What AC/DC needs are long meandering guitar solos”. Those tweets have since been deleted.
Hetfield currently has time on his hands in between fan-related lawsuits and could use the money. As he told a close friend “Attorney's aren't cheap”. He then added “Just wait until your hear Whole Lotta Sandman, it's an 11 minute epic solo”. This news of course is a huge blow to Axl Rose who was looking to tarnish a classic band's legacy with his arrogance and tardiness. He also could have used the money.
