PINK FLOYD's 27-disc 'The Early Years 1965-1972' box-set
Pink Floyd's 'The Early Years 1965-1972' giant box-set will include unreleased tracks, outtakes and rare concert footage and demos.
Pink Floyd have announced details of a giant box-set comprising of the band's early material and rare recordings.
Titled 'The Early Years 1965-1972', the 27-disc, 130-track multi-platform box-set will include 20+ previously unreleased tracks, outtakes and demos, BBC sessions, totalling at over 12 hours of audio and 15 hours of video. The video element of the release includes rare concert footage and feature films.
The box-set also comes with 7" singles, collectable memorabilia, plus seven individual book-style packages.
A press release says that the box-set "will give collectors the opportunity to hear the evolution of the band and witness their part in cultural revolutions from their earliest recordings and studio sessions to the years prior to the release of 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'”.
'The Early Years 1965-1972' will be released on November 11.
