Prince's Band The Revolution To Reform For Live Shows
Prince's backing band The Revolution are set to reunite following news of Prince's death last week, to play tribute to the late singer passed away at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota last Thursday (April 21).
The Revolution were formed by Prince in 1979 and were credited on three of Prince's albums: 1985's 'Around the World in A Day', 1986's 'Parade' and 1984's 'Purple Rain'. Members of the band also played on 1982's '1999'.
The reunited band will include members Brown Mark, Bobby Z, Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman and Matt 'Doctor' Fink. Watch the announcement video below
