Springsteen's autobiography is coming soon
Springsteen has been working on the book for the past seven years. He began working in 2009, after performing with the E Street Band at the Superbowl's Halftime Show.
The singer writes in his book: “writing about yourself is funny business. But in a project like this, the writer has made one promise, to show the reader his mind. In this pages I've tried to do this”. The book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, says that Bruce in his autobiography describes his growing up in Freehold in New Jersey “amid poetry, danger and darkness” and how it instilled in him relentless drive to become a musician. The publisher also says that Springsteen talked about his early days as a bar band king in Asbury Park and the rise of the E Street Band.
The work will be published in hardcover, ebook and audio edition in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, India and rights have already been sold to publisher in nine countries.
